Melanocetus is a deep sea fish which lures its victims using glowing antennae on its head. In the presented video, Plato’s concept was reversed, because poeple which appear on the screen stare into the light, instead oflooking at the shadows of things/ideas (as it is presented in Plato’s work). It is a metaphor of the delusional reality of sensory impressions.
